In the meeting of vice president of Ukraine chamber of commerce with vice president of Iran chamber of commerce was considered the ways of expanding economic cooperation between Iran and Ukraine.
According to the report of ICCIMA's public relations, Pedram Soltani the vice president of Iran chamber of commerce pointed to the dispatching of several trade delegations of Ukraine to Iran in recent months and said: New situation created more foreign delegates have come to Iran, so that the opportunity should be seized by both sides businessmen and also trade and commerce cooperation between both sides are expected to develop in coming months.
Iran chamber's vice president noted: the ground for enhanced cooperation between the two countries is well-prepared and the two sides should consider the ways of expanding economic cooperation between Iran and Ukraine.
He added: Oil, gas, energy, agricultural products, food, light and heavy industries, mines, mining and transport are the fields of joint cooperation between the two countries.
Soltani said: Iran's 80-million populations coupled with the region's 400-million population provide unique opportunity for Iranian trade ties with Ukraine in regional market.
He continued: the two countries have to avoid double taxation and an agreement needs to be signed in this regard.
Mykhailo Nepran deputy head of the Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and industry, announced the development of economic cooperation with Iran.
Mykhailo Nepran who is heading a trade delegation to Iran said: their presence in Iran shows proves boosting of bilateral ties between the two countries.
He noted that the only way for boosting cooperation is through finances, adding: We are progressing in this field and we believe that the two sides will reach a win-win agreement in this regard.
Emphasizing on the role of Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry as a bridge to Europe, he added: This is the point that Iran considers for its trades."
According to Nepran, the free trade agreement between Ukraine and Europe is to be operated early January.
He added: It is going to be operated from the West Ukraine. Therefore, the Chamber of Commerce of the region has a special importance. And Northern Europe can be advantageous for Iran in the fields of food and wood industries due to its relations with Russia and Belarus.
Further, Deputy Head of the Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry noted that the two countries can produce products in order to be sold in the European and global markets.
